Karlan Tucker

Founder

Over the past 33 years Karlan has visited with over 5,000 families. His main goal has been to protect clients from making devastating financial decisions, and show them how rewarding retirement can be. Karlan assists his clients by maximizing their social security income, as well as earnings from their 401k’s, IRA’s, savings and portfolio.

Phil Kosmala

Founder of Taiber Kosmala

Phil Kosmala, Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Taiber Kosmala & Associates, LLC has been in the investment consulting industry for over 15 years. Prior to establishing the firm, he worked at Lowery Asset Consulting, acting in several leadership, research, and consulting capacities including positions of Executive Vice President, Director of Manager Research, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chairman of the firm’s investment committee. He spent five years with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an examiner of money management firms and registered investment advisors.

With a collective experience of nearly 70 years, the Tucker Asset Management (TAM) Investment Policy Committee (IPC) includes but is not limited to, Karlan Tucker – Founder & CEO and our institutional consultant Phil Kosmala – Managing Partner of Taiber Kosmala and Associates. We also have registered advisors across the country who serve as our representation in the industry.

The purpose of the committee is to oversee all of the portfolios offered by TAM. With the resources of our Institutional Consultant, the roles and responsibilities of the committee are, but not limited to the following:

• Monitor asset allocation models
• Oversee the portfolio managers and their investment processes
• Ensure overall Fiduciary Responsibilities to advisors and clients
• Review compliance procedures
